As we do the preparations for Will and Mairead's wedding I found this photo in a file as I was looking for something else and couldn't resist putting it here for another viewing. It is Peter and Avril, Lizzie and Andy at Trish's wedding in the late 60's and very much part of the period. Andy told me that my white tights made me look as if I was about to go into an operating theatre...he was always full of compliments! The dress was buttercup yellow from Wallis, and I weighed 8st 3lbs...imagine that.
