snowdrops

A sunny time in Barford with snowdrops...

 and sheep and alpacas...
 long shadows...

and then home for tea and games like "Put your finger in the crow's nest"...*

 then into pyjamas to read before sleeping in the car on the way home...

* from my childhood...

"Put your finger in the crow's nest,
the crow's not at home
He's gone to Ballyvarley
Picking wee blue stones...

Oh, he's come back,
 he's come back, he's come back."

Pinching the little finger pressed into yours on the last line!

The seventh photograph down, is fantastic! You should do something with it....

That photo is Colin's...it is lovely isn't it. The rest are mine! The raindrops on the birch trees in that low slanting light were just wonderful and he captured it so much better than I did in the shots I took.
