I have been having fun doing a drawing a day as part of Bethany Kohrt's drawing club. The drawing that has caused most comment is one I did of one of my patchworked bowls. I enjoyed doing a five minute drawing of a ginger jar with a pipette which makes the lines so interesting.
And I cheated when it was to draw a face which is hidden in some way. I used the computer to help me. Drawing people reminds me too much of life drawing classes which I hated, and which made me feel inadequate.
So, when the assignment 15 was draw a self portrait I used a photograph again as a prop:
